Pangolin's Interactive Messaging Unlimited
system lets you 1) receive and process incoming SMS text messages; 2)
manually or automatically reply to those messages while conducting a
variety of campaigns and promotions; and 3) display them
on the Internet, or in public using video or lasers.
Step 1 and Step 2 are handled
by a program IMU. Step 3 is handled by a
multimedia and SMS text display program such as Video
Messaging Unlimited, described below. Both the IMU and VMU programs
are included when you purchase
our Interactive Messaging Unlimited system.
Display messages on the Internet,
or in public on video
screens or TV
 Pangolin's Video Messaging Unlimited (VMU)
program arranges the
approved messages from an IMU message stream into a video screen. You can add
a virtually unlimited number of video feeds, pictures, animations, titles,
voting results and scrolling text to the screen.
The completed video screen can then be viewed in a
variety of ways:
- You can output it from your computer to a
video projector or TV.
- You can output it from your computer into a video
feed such as a TV chat channel
- You can upload the screen to the Internet.
By using a collection of Java server and FLASH client components, you can send
VMU-like screens to your website. Viewers anywhere in the world
can see live SMS chat and voting.

Messaging Unlimited. It took only a few minutes to design this entire
screen for a nightclub, including live video feed (upper left), picture
(upper right), and scrolling text (top bar).
At the lower left is live
voting — callers include a special code such
as “+GUITAR” to vote for their favorite band member. Results can be
displayed in real time, or can be suppressed until after the voting is
over.
At the lower right are SMS chat sessions. Pangolin’s
IMU program sends filtered text messages
that scroll across the screen next to callers’ nicknames.
The windows and graphic elements that make up a
